Internet Explorer 6.0 (Windows)

  1. Select Internet Options from the Tools menu.
  2. Select the Security tab.
  3. Use the slider to set the security level to Medium. If you do not see a slider, you may have to first click the Default Level button.
  4. Click the Apply button.
  5. Select the Privacy tab.
  6. Use the slider to set the privacy level to Medium. If you do not see a slider, you may have to first click the Default button.
  7. Click the Apply button.
  8. Click OK to exit.

Internet Explorer 5.5 (Windows)

  1. Select Internet Options from the Tools menu.
  2. Select the Security tab.
  3. Use the slider to set the security level to Medium. If you do not see a slider, you may have to first click the Default Level button.
  4. Click the Apply button.
  5. Click OK to exit.

Internet Explorer 5.0 (Windows)

  1. Select Internet Options from the Tools menu.
  2. Select the Security tab.
  3. Use the slider to set the security level to Medium. If you do not see a slider, you may have to first click the Default Level button.
  4. Click the Apply button.
  5. Click OK to exit.

Internet Explorer 5.1 (Macintosh)

  1. Select Preferences from the Edit menu.
  2. Select Web Content from Web Browser menu.
  3. Select Enable Scripting from the Active Content window that appears on the right hand side.
  4. Select Java from the Web Browser menu.
  5. Select Enable Java from the Java Options window that appears on the right hand side.
  6. Select Cookies from the Receiving Files menu.
  7. When Receiving Cookies should be set to Never Ask. (Ask for each site or ask for each cookie are also acceptable choices).
  8. Click OK to exit.

Internet Explorer 5.0 (Macintosh)

  1. Select Preferences from the Edit menu.
  2. Select Web Content from Web Browser menu.
  3. Select Enable Scripting from the Active Content window that appears on the right hand side.
  4. Select Java from the Web Browser menu.
  5. Select Enable Java from the Java Options window that appears on the right hand side.
  6. Select Cookies from the Receiving Files menu.
  7. When Receiving Cookies should be set to Never Ask. (Ask for each site or ask for each cookie are also acceptable choices).
  8. Click OK to exit.

Netscape Navigator 6.2

  1. Select Preferences from the Edit menu.
  2. Select Advanced in the Category window. The right hand pane displays a set of advanced options.
  3. In the top section of the right pane, select the Enable Java and Enable JavaScript for Navigator checkboxes.
  4. Select Cookies from the Privacy & Security menu.
  5. In the cookies section of the right pane, select Enable All Cookies.
  6. Click OK to exit.

Netscape Navigator 6.1

  1. Select Preferences from the Edit menu.
  2. Select Advanced in the Category window. The right hand pane displays a set of advanced options.
  3. In the top section of the right pane, select the Enable Java and Enable JavaScript for Navigator check boxes.

AOL 7.0 (Windows)

  1. From the AOL Toolbar (the multicolored toolbar at the top of the page), select Settings.
  2. From the settings menu, select Preferences. The AOL Preferences guide should appear.
  3. Select The Web from the list on the left hand side of the guide.
  4. Click the Set up now button. The Internet Options dialog should now appear.
  5. Select the Security tab.
  6. Use the slider to set the security level to Medium. If you do not see a slider, you may have to first click the Default Level button.
  7. Click the Apply button.
  8. Select the Privacy tab. (If there is no Privacy tab then skip to Step 11).
  9. Use the slider to set the privacy level to Medium. If you do not see a slider, you may have to first click the Default button.
  10. Click the Apply button.
  11. Click OK to exit.
