Show Tune Showdown 2005 What is Show Tune Showdown? The inaugural Show Tune Showdown, on November 5, 2005, welcomed teams from Orpheus, the Canadian Centennial Choir, and the Ottawa School of Speech and Drama to the stage of the Bronson Centre to compete for the inaugural title. Songs from musicals as diverse as Annie Get Your Gun, Spamalot, and Les Miserables wowed the audience and celebrity judges Alex Munter, Laurence Ewashko, and Marg Stubington. After all the songs were sung, Orpheus Musical Theatre were the first winners of the Show Tune Showdown, and Tone Cluster had raised over $3000. Show Tune Showdown 2005
