Celebrate with Tone Cluster

As a federally registered, not-for-profit organization, Tone Cluster depends significantly on the generosity of its supporters. As with many arts groups, the cost of a ticket only covers a small portion of the expenses associated with putting on a concert. Your support (both by way of advertising with us, or making a tax creditable donation) will go a long way to help us continue as Ottawa's leading LGBT and friends mixed choir.

Advertising Opportunities 2007/2008

Greetings, Tone Cluster Supporter!

Tone Cluster is starting a fourteenth season of concerts that will be as entertaining and personable as ever. The choir wants to invite you to advertise again in the show programs.

Would you be interested in placing an ad in our programs ? Your support makes a big difference. The proceeds go towards rehearsal space, music purchases, professional fees, and performance venues. Rates are reasonable: this year’s rate sheet is attached.

Remembering You will be the first concert of the season on November 24th, and will bring repertoire and songs of remembrance for casualties of war and victims of HIV/AIDS. Very special guests Karen Donnelly (trumpet) and Marjolaine Laroche (double bass) from the National Arts Centre orchestra have agreed to perform with the choir.

On March 8, the choir will be in Westboro, performing the music of Leonard Cohen, Ron Sexsmith, Connie Kaldor and others. Lee Hayes and Folka Voca will be joining TC for Queer as Folk (Music!) concert at All Saints’ Anglican Church/First United Church.

Yes, there will be a Show Tune Showdown this season. Our audience numbers were up almost 20% last year, and we are looking forward to breaking records again for another year of music, fun and fierce competition for the title of Show Tune Showdown Champion of 2008.

Then comes the June show: Miami and Other Vices which will conclude our performance season here in Ottawa. In that show, Tone Cluster will perform its greatest hits.

The board has frozen the rates at last year’s prices and significant discounts still apply for full season ads. I look forward to hearing from you !

We look forward to hearing from you!
