So
your friends tell you, you are a game player. Well it’s time
to prove them right.
Join
WRIB to share in great night playing your favourite game. Share
some laughs, learn a new game, teach others your favourite game.
Whether your game is Scrabble, Euchre, Yatzee, Poker or Monopoly
your bound to find a few girls to play with.
Pack
up you favourite game and bring it out to our all games night at
the 519.
It's
an easy way to meet, greet and chat with other board game lovers.
First
Game starts at 6:30 pm, second game at 8:00 pm.
So
come enjoy a fun filled night. Cost is $5, that will go towards
prizes and a few snacks. Feel free to bring your own favourite munchies.
Prizes for the highest score, most unusual word and of course a
booby prize for low score.

Event: Bringing your business to the Web
 Jemma
Fong is WRIB's new web mistress and is responsible for our beautifully
revised web site.
Jemma
entered the digital world in 1994 and is now considered an expert
in the area of web design/development, online business development
and marketing strategy. In her various roles as graphic artist,
business planner, marketer and innovative educator, she has established
web sites for many non-profit organizations, small to mid-sized
businesses and community associations.
Between 2000 and 2003, as part of the Bizlink web team at Rogers
Media Publishing Ltd, Jemma enhanced her web experience by creating
and managing 24 major industry and business publication web sites.
During this time she demonstrated leadership and organizational
skills that greatly contributed to the department's revenue and
growth.
Jemma's
own company, InSite
Creations, allows her to focus on the small to mid-sized business
sector, helping them to explore new marketing and online business
solutions. Working in consultation with her clients, Jemma controls
the entire development process, from business strategic planning
to technological implementation. Her goal is to continue to successfully
build her own business through growing her client portfolio by providing
them with the highest quality web business service
Tonight's topic: Find out ways to bring your business/organization
to the web. Learn a 3-step process that will save time and money
when developing your site. Review how 3 different businesses brought
their site online. Explore these with Jemma and Wen, and find out
how you can apply these strategies to your own business.

WRIB Takes A Hike To... The Bruce Trail. It's hiking season again! Join Gisele and the gang on another great exploration of the Bruce Trail. Easy pace, all experience levels are welcome. Non-members are invited to participate. Wear good hiking foot-gear, and dress to the weather. Please bring your lunch and a bottle of water.
COST: shared gas.

This coming Saturday, we will see Mona Lisa Smile. It is showing at the Varsity Cinemas 55 Bloor St. W. (Manulife Center) (416) 961-6303 at the corner of Bay and Bloor. It is showing 7:10 p.m. We will meet around 6:00 PM at the main entrance of the theater.
Because it is a new release, I would strongly suggest that if you are interested in attending the movie, that you buy your ticket in advance. The Varsity is a very busy theater especially on Saturday evening. You can buy your ticket at the machines at the Varsity or on the Internet at http://www.cineplex.com.
