BizNet Event: LET'S TALK ABOUT HOUSING FOR GAY SENIORS
Speaker: Carlyn Moulton
It's been the talk around kitchen tables and at dinner parties for years. How are we going to live as we get older? Are there any gay old age homes, retirement communities? We talk but nobody seems to do anything.
The Vivat Group is one organization that's taking the conversation a step forward. Gay run, Vivat recognizes a significant gap in our housing market, the need for environmentally friendly, urban, affordable housing designed with older LGBT people in mind.
Carlyn Moulton, our January Business Network speaker is a partner in the Vivat Group. Carlyn brings her diverse experience from the fundraising, health care management, law enforcement, health record and laboratory consultation, journalism and public broadcasting background to this timely project. She is known as a good speaker and will be sharing Vivat's concepts, goals, and the project so far. For more information about The Vivat Group, including their current building assembley plans, please visit: www.vivatgroup.com.
Come and join the conversation on January 13, 2004. |
