the WRIB dance, "All welcome Dinner"
Join friends old and new for dinner and get ready for WRIB's
SUMMER HEAT dance.

Mini-Putt
at the Docks
Come
enjoy a day at the Docks, Mini-Putting with the Women of WRIB. 18
Holes -- are you game? ("No Putt" intended!) Spend a day
by the lake and, hopefully, it will be nice enough to watch the
sailboats float by.
Cost per person is $6.00 per game, 18 holes.
Driving Range Cost:
$10.00 for a small bucket of balls.
$15.00 for a large bucket of balls.
When
we get done mini-putting, we can jump into the Go-Karts and do a
couple of laps around their 1.2 km of track... with speeds up to
40 kmh!
Prices are: $4.50 for a single lap.
$12.00 for 3 laps
$15.00 for 5 laps
$20.00 for 6 laps
All laps can be shared with the exception of the 5 laps. (two can
share the tickets)

Potluck Lunch
Shirley
A. (WRIB's Fine Arts Group coordinator) has hosted a series of terrific
potluck lunches in her home. Happy guests cheerfully devoured their
own fine cooking -- seconds, and even thirds, were the rule. And
some seriously yummy desserts were too tempting to pass up. Sounds
like a great afternoon, eh? And you couldn't attend? Not to worry
-- it's time once more for a Summer Potluck! Bring your best home
cookin' or trot out your favourite party dish.
Non-alcoholic beverages will be provided or you can bring your own,
if you prefer.
Location: Hwy 427 and Lakeshore area.
TTC riders will meet at Kipling Subway.

At The Movies

Saturday of each month. Join the gang for the pick of the month.
This event is open to everyone, and your only cost is the price
of the movie and, of course, your refreshments. Send us an email
to have your name placed on the notifications list, and please,
make sure you include a contact phone number, in case we need
to advise you of last-minute changes in plans. If you don't
have access to e-mail on Friday or on weekends, please specify
that in your message, and our Movie Host, Maryse, will contact
you at the phone number you provide. |
This
weekend (July 19), we will see Charlie's Angels: Full Throttle It
is playing at the Paramount( 295 Richmond avenue west, corner of
John and Richmond, steps from Osgoode subway station, 416-368-5600
). We will go to the 6:50 show in the evening. We will meet at 6:15
at the main entrance of the theater. If you don't mind, could you
let me know if you are planning on attending? Maybe we could go
out for coffee after the movie?

Summer
Singles Brunch
Our
Singles can't get enough of our trademark dinners. But we do offer
Singles events in daylight hours, too! So, yes, it's that time again
-- WRIB's annual Summer Singles Brunch. We'll be dining in a central
location, and full details will be provided to guests when they
RSVP. Great food, great women, maybe an icebreaker game... and plenty
of opportunities to mix and mingle.
