Biznet Event: Why do I need insurance?

A Business Networking Group Event

Presenter: Livia DiGiovanni, C.A.I.B

Lawyers Simona Jellinek and Krista Thomas will be on hand to respond to legal questions.

Livia DiGiovanni has been an insurance broker since 1988, and associated with Brokers Trust Insurance Group In. for the past 11 years. As a broker, Livia acts as both consultant and educator for her clients. At this meeting Livia will share stories of real-life insurance claims to demonstrate why and when we need to be properly and sufficiently insured.

Simona and Krista have had extensive insurance claim experience in their law practice and will round out the evening's discussion with additional information based on real legal cases.

LOCATION: Schillings Café, 135 Danforth Ave. (on the south side just east of Broadview) This is a non-smoking event. Calling all scrabble fanatics!! Advanced, intermediate and beginners welcome.

Join us to share in great Scrabble with a lot of laughs. It's an easy way to meet, greet and chat with other board game lovers. Highlight's from the last Scrabble night included the four-letter word 'clit', with our bunch of course no one challenged. First Game starts at 6:30 pm, second game at 8:00 pm.

So come enjoy a fun filled night. Cost is $5, that will go towards prizes and a few snacks. Feel free to bring your own favourite munchies. Prizes for the highest score, most unsual word and of course a booby prize for low score.
